Background

Federico C. Sayre is an attorney at Adamson Ahdoot LLP, a nationally recognized trial lawyer with more than 200 cases tried to verdict. Sayre earned his Juris Doctor from UC Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law in 1975, where he served as Chief Note and Comment Editor of the California Law Review and founded and directed the Migrant Legal Services Program. He earned his Master's in Public Affairs from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School in 1971 as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow, and his Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Arizona in 1969 (Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities; founding member of the Mexican-American Liberation Committee). He received a National Endowment for the Humanities Research Grant (1971-1972) for the study of agricultural labor. Sayre is admitted to the California State Bar (1975), the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, the Arizona Bar (1980), the Oklahoma Bar (1983), and admitted Pro Hac Vice in Nevada (1982). He is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the California Trial Lawyers Association, the Mexican American Bar Association (Founding Life Member), and the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation (Board Member). His honors include Super Lawyers (2008), the 100 Best Lawyers from the American Trial Lawyers Association (2008), Hispanic Lawyer of the Year (2010), and an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell (2000). Notable results include a $15 million burn case, a $12 million transport injury, an $11.8 million hospital case, and the Rodney King civil settlement. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
