Background
Scott Armstrong is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP in Houston, Texas, where he leads a team of over 20 lawyers in catastrophic injury and complex personal injury litigation. He has served as lead counsel in cases resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars recovered for his clients. Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of North Texas and his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 2014. During law school he was Chief Articles Editor of the Houston Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif, Order of the Barons, and National Order of Scribes. Scott co-founded Armstrong Lee & Baker in 2017 after practicing at Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Aziz and Arnold & Itkin LLP. He currently serves his third term on the State Bar of Texas Pattern Jury Charges Oversight Committee. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year from 2017 to 2026, named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, and selected for the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers list.
