After being recognized as an attorney, she helped secure a $110,174,972 jury verdict for a 23-year-old cyclist paralyzed after being struck by an object from subway maintenance, and a $2,735,296 unanimous verdict for a Local 157 Union Carpenter struck in the head with a steel door. Gabriela earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from New York Law School in 2022, where she received the Professor Ivan Soubbotitch Award for Excellence in Poverty Law and Civil Rights and served on the Dean's Leadership Council. She also held leadership roles on the Latin American Law Students' Association Executive Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2009. She is admitted to practice in New York State and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
