Background

Ralph J. Tease, Jr. is a shareholder and the managing partner of the Green Bay and Appleton offices of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. He handles a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death cases and has tried cases in courts throughout Wisconsin. Tease earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 1981 and his undergraduate degree from St. Norbert College. He was born and raised in Green Bay and is a graduate of Green Bay Preble High School. He is admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin. Tease began his legal career as a judicial intern for the Honorable John A. Decker, Wisconsin Court of Appeals Chief Judge, and then worked as a tax attorney for a national accounting firm in Milwaukee before returning to Green Bay to focus on civil litigation. He has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1997 and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, where he serves as Treasurer. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and is a Past Chair of the Board of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. His honors include Best Lawyers in America selection since 2015, Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year for Personal Injury Litigation in Green Bay (2017 and 2023), Wisconsin Super Lawyers selection annually since 2005, Top 10 Attorneys in Wisconsin (2017-2024), and Top 50 Wisconsin Super Lawyers since 2010.
