Background

David McDivitt is the Executive Vice President, CEO, and Attorney at McDivitt Law Firm in Colorado. McDivitt previously served as Deputy Public Defender with the Colorado State Public Defender's office. He frequently testifies before Colorado legislative committees on injury protection legislation and serves as a legal analyst for television and radio. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He completed additional studies at Washington and Lee University and the University of Paris-Sorbonne (French language certification). He is admitted to the Colorado Bar, U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
