Background

Kevin Young is an Associate Attorney at Peterson & Associates, P.C. in Kansas City, Missouri. A Southwest Missouri native from Marshfield, he served six years in the Marines before pursuing law. Following law school, Young worked as a Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Greene County Prosecutor's Office, handling felony property, white-collar crime, and serious drug cases. He has focused exclusively on personal injury litigation since 2016. He earned his Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he served as a senior editor of the Regent Journal for Law and Public Policy. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. He has served as a guest lecturer at Drury University teaching torts and animal law.
