Joel Nied is an attorney at Price Benowitz LLP focused on corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, intellectual property, contracts and securities regulation, private placements and Blue Sky law, joint ventures and fund formation, and HUD-insured acquisition, construction, and refinancing loans. Nied earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to the Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Georgia State Bars. Nied is the founder of and a Board member (2002-present) of the Entrepreneurs Forum of Hampton Roads. He has also served on the boards of the Hampton Roads Technology Council (2006-2011), Hospice and Palliative Care of Tidewater (2014-present), and the Community Relations Council (2016-present). His honors include selection to Inside Business magazine's "Top 40 Under 40," the 2012 High Tech Leadership Award from Technology Hampton Roads, Super Lawyers designation, and a Best Lawyers designation.
