Ven Johnson is the Founder of Ven Johnson Law, PLC, a plaintiff's personal injury attorney with nearly 40 years of experience representing victims in state and federal courts. He specializes in civil rights, police misconduct, product liability, trucking and automobile negligence, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Johnson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1986 and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kalamazoo College in 1983. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. With over $1.5 billion in jury verdicts and settlements, including 30+ verdicts exceeding $1 million, Johnson is known for high-profile cases including Edwards v. Grubbs (2022), described as the largest verdict of its kind at $100 million, the Patrick Lyoya death case, and the Oxford High School shooting matters.
