Ryan Zehl is the founder of Zehl & Associates, a Houston-based plaintiffs' personal injury law firm with a national practice focused on catastrophic injury, offshore, oilfield, and commercial truck cases. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. magna cum laude from South Texas College of Law, graduating in the top 5 percent of his class. After law school, Ryan served as a briefing attorney for Justice Scott Brister of the Texas Supreme Court before joining Gardere's litigation and appellate group, where he distinguished himself as an aggressive trial lawyer in complex commercial and personal injury cases. Ryan has been named a Texas Super Lawyer every year since 2009 and has been featured on the cover of Texas Super Lawyers magazine. He has also been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 in Texas and to LawDragon's leading lawyers in America in 2025. He holds lifetime membership in both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
